Model training
How content is used to improve our models and how to object.
- Are my API keys and passwords removed before training?Automated filters try to remove secrets and credentials, but may miss some. Don't paste secrets into prompts, and rotate any you did.FAQ
- Can a model "forget" my data after it was trained? No. Models already trained can't be changed to remove what they learned. Objecting stops future use.FAQ
- Can my company opt out of training for our whole team?Yes. The team owner or any member can object. Enterprise agreements can also set different terms.FAQ
- Could my code show up in someone else's answers?Outputs may resemble what others get. Training data is pseudonymized and filtered, but keep confidential code out of prompts if that worries you.FAQ
- Does Clatter Labs train AI models on my data?Yes. Pseudonymized prompts, outputs, files and agent sessions, with secrets filtered out, help train our own models. You can object.Explainer
- How do I opt out of model training?Send a request at support.clatterlabs.com saying you object to model training and identifying your account, for example by email.How-to
- How is my content prepared before it's used for training? It's pseudonymized and passed through automated filters that remove secrets and credentials. Filters aren't perfect.Explainer
- Is content from teenagers used for training? No. Clatter Labs doesn't use content from users it knows are under 18 to train models.FAQ
- What happens after I object to model training?Within a month we stop adding your content and remove it from unused datasets where identifiable. Already-trained models can't unlearn.FAQ
- Why isn't there a toggle to turn off training? There's no in-product setting today. Objections are handled by request through the Support Center.FAQ
