Buying a plan or credits through Gumroad, payment status and payment problems.
- Billing says "Checkout opens soon". Why can't I buy?Checkout is temporarily closed. Plan buttons say Opens soon and the notice says plans and credits will be available shortly.Troubleshooting
- Can I buy a plan or credits from my phone?Yes. Open Billing in your phone's browser; Gumroad's checkout works on mobile. Allow new tabs if it opens one.FAQ
- Can I buy a plan or credits if I'm under 18?Minors can only buy plans or credits through a parent or guardian. Under 13s can't have an account.Policy
- Can I buy from any country?Clatter Labs restricts some jurisdictions under the Terms. Gumroad's checkout may also limit methods by country.FAQ
- Can I give someone a Clatter Labs plan as a gift?There's no gift option. The person can buy from their own Console, or you can add them to your team.FAQ
- Can I pay with a different email from my Clatter Labs account?Yes, as long as the checkout link keeps your Account ID. Always start checkout from the Console.FAQ
- Can my business name appear on the receipt?Receipts come from Gumroad, the merchant of record. Use the details Gumroad lets you enter at checkout or in its receipt.FAQ
- How do I buy a paid plan?Billing › Plans › Get <Plan>, pay at Gumroad, and the Console activates the plan within seconds of the payment.How-to
- How does checkout work?Plans and credits are bought in the Console and paid through Gumroad, the merchant of record. Your purchase links to your Account ID.Explainer
- I bought a plan or credits on the wrong account. Can it be moved?Purchases belong to the Account ID in the checkout link. Credits can't be transferred; email support with both Account IDs.Troubleshooting
- I closed the checkout window before it finished. Was I charged?If Gumroad didn't complete the payment, nothing was bought. Check Billing › History and your Gumroad receipt email.Troubleshooting
- I paid for a plan but the Console still shows Free. What do I do?Wait a moment, select Refresh payment status, check you're in the right account, then contact support with the Gumroad receipt.Troubleshooting
- I think I was charged twice. What should I do?Check Billing › History and your Gumroad receipts, then email support with your Account ID and both receipts within 60 days.Troubleshooting
- Is it safe to pay through the Console?Payment is handled on Gumroad's checkout; the Console doesn't ask for card numbers. Only start checkout from console.clatterlabs.com.FAQ
- My payment failed or my card was declined. What now?Gumroad handles payments. Try another method or contact your bank. For renewals, update your card on Gumroad.Troubleshooting
- The checkout window doesn't open. What can I do?Allow pop-ups and new tabs for the Console, disable blockers, try another browser, or check your company network.Troubleshooting
- What does "Refresh payment status" do?It asks Gumroad again about your purchases and updates your plan and credits. Use it if a payment doesn't show up.How-to
- What does "test" next to a purchase mean?It marks a test purchase made without a real charge. It doesn't represent a payment.FAQ
- What does Gumroad get when I buy from the Console?The checkout link carries your Account ID and email so the purchase matches your account. Gumroad handles your payment details.FAQ
- What happens if I file a chargeback?Paid features may be suspended until the amount is paid, and reversed amounts may be deducted from credits. Ask support first.Policy
- Which payment methods can I use?Payment methods are handled by Gumroad and shown at its checkout. Clatter Labs doesn't take payments directly.FAQ
- Who actually sells me the plan or credits?Gumroad is the merchant of record. It handles payment processing, payment methods, invoices and taxes.Policy
- Why does Billing say "Waiting for Gumroad to confirm your purchase"?The Console checks every few seconds, for up to 3 minutes, until Gumroad confirms. Then the plan or credits appear.FAQ
- Why is my Account ID in the checkout link?It tells Clatter Labs which account to give the plan or credits to. Don't edit the link or share it.FAQ
- Why is the price at checkout different from the Plans page?Gumroad may add taxes as stated at checkout, and your bank may convert currency. Plan prices themselves are in US dollars.FAQ
- Will I be charged tax or VAT?Taxes are handled by Gumroad as merchant of record and shown at checkout. Prices may include or exclude tax as Gumroad states.FAQ
