Does /compact use my plan?
Yes, a small amount: /compact (and auto-compact when it needs a summary) asks SuperCosmos Flash to summarize the session, and that call counts toward your plan.
It usually pays off: every later step sends the short summary instead of the long history, so long sessions use less overall.
