How do I cap how much a Line CLI run can spend?
Use --max-budget-usd with print mode:
line -p "fix the lint errors" --max-budget-usd 0.50
Line stops when the run's spend, at list price, reaches that amount. The result is marked error_max_budget in JSON output, and the session is saved so you can continue.
You can also cap the number of model steps with --max-turns N (exit code 2 when reached).
These caps measure list-price value; for plan users, usage counts toward your plan rather than being charged to you.
