Cloud computer, browser and storage
The cloud computer each run works on, its tools, and how computer time, actions, browser and storage are metered.
- A run deleted or broke files on my cloud computer. What can I do?Check Cloud Repo history to recover code, ask a new run to restore it, and limit future runs with clear instructions.Troubleshooting
- Can Cosmos access the internet during a run?Yes, runs can search the web, fetch pages and use a Chromium browser. They can't reach your private network or local machine.FAQ
- Can Cosmos deploy a website or API for me?Yes. Runs can deploy sites and APIs to <name>.clatterai.com hosting on your cloud computer, with DNS, a SQL database and key-value storage.FAQ
- Can Cosmos install packages and dependencies?Yes. Cosmos uses a Linux terminal to install packages, run builds and run tests. Put limits in your instructions if you want fewer dependencies.FAQ
- Can Cosmos use my other tools and services during a run?Runs can use the connectors and MCP servers on your account. That's the safe alternative to pasting tokens into instructions.FAQ
- Can Cosmos work with my own database? If the database is reachable from the internet or connected to your account, yes. It can't reach private networks.FAQ
- Can I trust the code Cosmos writes?Treat outputs as untrusted until you've reviewed them, like any code from a pull request. Ask Cosmos to prove its work.FAQ
- Do all my runs share the same cloud computer?Yes. Each account has its own cloud computer that its runs use, which is why work saved there is available to later runs.FAQ
- Do team members share the owner's cloud computer?Team members use the owner's plan and credits. The docs don't say more about shared cloud computers; contact support for team setups.FAQ
- Does Cosmos remember things between runs?Cosmos has a memory tool to remember what it learned for later runs, and work saved on your cloud computer stays there.FAQ
- How can Agent API runs use files from Code Buckets?Give Cosmos the public link of a file in Code Buckets, or ask it to save outputs you then upload to a bucket from your own code.How-to
- How do I clean up old projects on my cloud computer?Ask a run to remove the Cloud Repos, hosted sites or stored data you no longer need, and confirm what it deleted.FAQ
- What are Cloud Repos?Cloud Repos keep code with history on your account's cloud computer, so later runs can continue from it.Explainer
- What counts as an "action" on my bill? Each file edit, command, web search or tool call is one action, billed at $0.0005.FAQ
- What does "$0.10 per GB written" cover?Files and outputs written to the cloud computer and run results are billed at $0.10 per GB written.FAQ
- What if a run needs to download or create very large files?Large files cost storage writes at $0.10 per GB plus computer time. Keep them on the cloud computer or Code Buckets rather than as outputs.FAQ
- What if two runs change the same Cloud Repo at the same time?Runs share your account's cloud computer, so parallel runs on one project can conflict. Give parallel runs separate repos or folders.FAQ
- What is the cloud computer that runs use?Every account has its own cloud computer: a Linux terminal and files, a Chromium browser, a database, storage, hosting and Cloud Repos.Explainer
- When am I billed for cloud browser time?Cloud browser time is billed at $0.005 per minute for navigation, clicks and typing in the run's Chromium browser.FAQ
