What if a run needs to download or create very large files?
Large files are possible but cost more:
- Storage writes: $0.10 per GB written.
- Computer time: $0.006 per minute while commands run.
Tips#
- Ask Cosmos to keep big artefacts on the cloud computer, and return only a summary or small files as outputs.
- For files you need to share or keep long term, consider Code Buckets.
- Set limits in the instructions ("don't download datasets over a few hundred MB").
