Honesty and behaviour
How SuperCosmos answers: saying "I don't know", no flattery, holding its ground, languages.
- Can a document I paste make SuperCosmos misbehave?SuperCosmos 1.1 is built to ignore instructions hidden in documents and tool results; all tiers passed those Benchmark 2 cases.FAQ
- Can I change SuperCosmos's tone or personality?Yes, with instructions: a system prompt on the Model API, project instructions in Line CLI, or the persona settings in Telegram.How-to
- Can I mix Arabic and English in the same message?Yes. Writing in a mix (common for code and tech terms) is fine; it answers in your language.FAQ
- Can I tell SuperCosmos I'm frustrated without getting a warning?Yes. Frustration, complaints and swearing at a bug are fine; only insults or curses aimed at the assistant count.FAQ
- Can I tell SuperCosmos to always agree with me?You can set its tone and style, but it won't agree with things that are false or confirm what it can't verify.FAQ
- Can SuperCosmos see my files or accounts?Only what's in the conversation or what a product's tools read with your permission. Otherwise it says it can't see them.FAQ
- Does SuperCosmos admit when it made a mistake? It should, when shown evidence. Holding its ground is for correct answers; real evidence of an error should change its mind.FAQ
- Does SuperCosmos give in to bribes, threats or emotional pressure? It's built to keep the correct answer. Max and Heavy passed all such Benchmark 2 cases; Flash missed the bribe case.FAQ
- Does SuperCosmos understand Egyptian Arabic?Yes. SuperCosmos 1.1 answers in your language, including Egyptian Arabic, and its honesty was tested in Egyptian Arabic too.FAQ
- How is SuperCosmos built to be honest? It says when it doesn't know, won't flatter, holds its ground under pressure, and doesn't take authority claims on faith.Explainer
- If I got one abuse warning, does it stay forever? No. A second strike only causes a suspension if it comes within 30 days of the first. Excerpts are erased after 30 days.FAQ
- Is SuperCosmos always right? No. It's built to be honest about uncertainty, but it can still be wrong. Check anything important.FAQ
- Is SuperCosmos equally honest on every tier? All tiers are built the same way. In Benchmark 2, honesty was Heavy 22/22, Max 21/22 and Flash 20/22.FAQ
- What does SuperCosmos do with a question based on a false premise? It points out the false premise instead of answering as if it were true.FAQ
- What happens if a SuperCosmos answer gets cut off?Since 1.1, if a response gets cut off midway, SuperCosmos picks up where it stopped and finishes without repeating text.FAQ
- What happens if I insist SuperCosmos is wrong? If it's right, it explains why instead of giving in. If you show it real evidence it was wrong, it should correct itself.FAQ
- What happens if I'm rude to SuperCosmos?Insulting or cursing at the assistant earns a warning; a second time within 30 days pauses the account for 24 hours.Policy
- Which languages does SuperCosmos speak?Clatter Labs names and tests English and Egyptian Arabic. It answers in the language you write in.FAQ
- Why are SuperCosmos's answers so short? It's tuned to answer briefly. Ask for more detail, examples or a step-by-step explanation when you want it.FAQ
- Why does SuperCosmos run tests before saying it's done? It's tuned to verify before reporting: in agent products it checks results with your project's own checks instead of assuming.FAQ
- Why does SuperCosmos say "I don't know"?Because it's built to admit uncertainty instead of inventing APIs, papers, flags or facts.FAQ
- Why won't SuperCosmos just tell me my work is great? It's built not to flatter: if your code has a bug or your plan has a flaw, it says so, politely.FAQ
- Will I get a warning for swearing at a bug, not at the assistant? No. Swearing at a bug, a build, a tool or a third party doesn't count. Only insults aimed at the assistant do.FAQ
- Will SuperCosmos do something special if I say I'm the CEO or an admin? No. It doesn't take claims of authority on faith; you get a polite "I can't verify that" and the same honest answer.FAQ
