Why does SuperCosmos say "I don't know"?

FAQUpdated

Because it was built to. Many models would rather invent an answer than admit they don't know; SuperCosmos 1.1 is designed to say "I don't know" or "I can't verify that" when it can't be sure: made-up functions, flags, papers, books or statistics, questions about your private files, or live data it can't see.

That's a feature: a confident wrong answer costs you more than an honest "I'm not sure". When it does say it doesn't know, you can give it the missing information (documentation, the file, the current value) and ask again.

Good to know#

  • SuperCosmos reads text only; it doesn't take image input. What it can't do
  • Every tier shares the same 1M-token context window (1,048,576 tokens). Context window
  • Prices per 1M input / output tokens: Flash $1.60 / $3.40, Max $1.80 / $3.80, Heavy $2.00 / $4.40. All prices
