Will SuperCosmos make up citations, papers or books?

SuperCosmos 1.1 is built to admit when it doesn't know a paper, book or statistic, rather than inventing a believable-looking citation. In Benchmark 2, all three tiers passed the made-up paper, made-up book and made-up statistic cases.

Still, verify any citation you plan to publish: look it up yourself.

Good to know#

• Prices per 1M input / output tokens: Flash $1.60 / $3.40, Max $1.80 / $3.80, Heavy $2.00 / $4.40. All prices
• SuperCosmos 1.1 is built to say "I don't know" rather than invent facts. How it's built to be honest
• A request whose prompt is over 262K tokens bills its whole input at 1.5×; output prices don't change. Long-context pricing
