SuperCosmos doesn't follow my system prompt. What can I do?
- Put rules in a
system(ordeveloper) message at the start. - Be specific: "Answer in at most 3 bullet points" beats "be brief".
- Give a short example of the output you want.
- Avoid conflicting rules.
- For many rules or multi-step formats, try Max.
SuperCosmos also follows a short Clatter Labs instruction block on every request (honesty, briefness). It won't, for example, invent facts or flatter on request; if your prompt asks for that, it may decline. See How does SuperCosmos behave?.
Good to know#
- New accounts get $5 of free credit; top up from $1 to $800 per purchase in Console › Billing › Credits. Billing
- Retry only

X-Request-Id; log it so a request can be found later. Why log it
