How do I install Line CLI in a CI pipeline?
Install with the usual script in a CI step, skipping profile edits, and add the folder to PATH for later steps.
curl -fsSL https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line | LINE_NO_MODIFY_PATH=1 LINE_VERSION=0.9.0-beta sh
export PATH="$HOME/.line/bin:$PATH"
line --version
Tips#
- Pin
LINE_VERSIONif you want the same version on every run; leave it out to always get the latest. - Run Line in print mode (
line -p) with--output-format jsonso your pipeline can read the result. - Use
--max-turnsand--max-budget-usdto cap runs, and--permission-modeor--allowed-toolsto control what it may do without a person approving. - Sign-in on CI machines needs care: device sign-in requires a person to confirm a code. Keep sign-in files secret if you reuse them.
