How do I install a specific version of Line CLI?

Set the LINE_VERSION environment variable when you run the installer.

macOS / Linux:

curl -fsSL https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line | LINE_VERSION=0.9.0-beta sh

Windows PowerShell:

$env:LINE_VERSION = '0.9.0-beta'; irm https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line.ps1 | iex

Good to know#

• Use the plain version number, like 0.9.0-beta, without a v.
• The installer still verifies the checksum. If the checksum for that version can't be found, it refuses to install an unverified binary.
• Not every past version is guaranteed to be downloadable. If a version isn't available, the download fails.
• We recommend the latest version: older ones may use features that no longer exist, such as the retired Line Code model.
