What is a usage window on paid plans?
A usage window is a short period with its own usage limit. It starts with your first request after the previous window ended, and lasts a fixed time depending on your plan:
| Plan | Window length |
|---|---|
| Developer | 5.5 hours |
| Plus | 5.5 hours |
| Pro | 5 hours |
| Max | 2 hours |
| Ultra | 1.5 hours |
On top of windows, paid plans have a weekly limit that runs for 7 days from your billing date.
Example#
You start coding at 09:00 on Pro. Your window runs until 14:00. If you use it all by 12:00, Line pauses app usage until 14:00. Your next request after 14:00 starts a new window.
The Free plan has no windows: it has a monthly allowance that resets on the 1st (UTC).
