My Model API stream ended with an error event. What happened?

When a streamed completion fails partway, the stream sends data: {"error": {...}} followed by data: [DONE]. Codes like stream_error, model_timeout or empty_response are temporary. Retry with backoff. Keep the X-Request-Id if you report it.

Good to know#

• On 429, wait the Retry-After seconds before retrying.
• When asking support about an error, send the key's name, never the key.
• Every API request sends your key and your Account ID (X-Clatter-Account: CL-…); a key alone is refused.
