The Playground says "The model stream failed" or "The connection dropped". What happened?

These messages mean the streamed answer stopped partway:

• "The connection dropped before the reply finished." — usually your network.
• "The model stream failed." / "Couldn't reach the model" — the model side didn't finish, for example because it was busy.
• "The reply stalled" — nothing arrived for a while.

Send the message again. If your network is unstable, try another connection. If it affects everything, check status.clatterlabs.com.

Good to know#

• Playground use is billed from your API credits, like the Model API and Agent API.
• View code turns what you tried into Python, JavaScript or cURL.
• SuperCosmos reads text only; image input isn't supported.
