What's that 6-number code app my account asks for?
It's called an authenticator app. It lives on a phone and shows a new 6-number code every few seconds. Your account asks for that code so that only the person holding the phone (you!) can get in.
- Ask a parent or guardian to help you install one, like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Don't delete the app, and don't share the codes.
- If you get a new phone, set it up again before the old phone is reset.
