Am I charged for requests that fail?

The docs state that calls to retired Line Code ids (410 model_retired) are never billed. More generally, you're billed from the usage of a completed call. Requests refused up front (bad key, no credits, rate limit, invalid body) never reach the model, so there's no usage to bill.

For a stream that failed midway, check the call in Console › Logs, which shows each call's price. If something looks wrong, write to support@clatterlabs.com with the request id.
