Is my Account ID a secret?

FAQUpdated

Your Account ID (CL-…) identifies your account; on its own it can't call the API. The API key is the real secret. Still, keep the Account ID out of public places: a key that leaks without its Account ID can't be used, and that protection only works if the Account ID isn't sitting right next to it.

Store both in your secret manager or environment variables.

Good to know#

  • Model ids: supercosmos-flash, supercosmos-max, supercosmos-heavy (SuperCosmos 1.1). Which to call
  • If calls fail unexpectedly, check status.clatterlabs.com before debugging further.
  • Each key has its own limit: 10, 30 (default), 60 or 120 requests per minute. Rate limits
