What is the "Console Playground" key in my list?

FAQUpdated

The Console Playground key is created and managed by the Console for your account. The Playground uses it to call the Model API and the Agent API on your behalf, which is why Playground use is billed exactly like API usage.

  • It's labelled "Used by the Playground · not counted".
  • It doesn't count toward your 25-key limit.
  • You never see or copy its secret; it stays inside the Console.
  • The name is reserved, so you can't create your own key called "Console Playground".

What if I revoke it?#

You can. The Console makes a fresh one the next time you use the Playground.

Good to know#

  • Each key has its own rate limit: 10, 30 (default), 60 or 120 requests per minute.
  • Keys can expire after 30 days, 90 days (default), 1 year, or never.
