Can I get a surprise bill from Clatter Labs?

Not from usage. Billing is built so you always pay up front:

• Plans are a fixed monthly price. Hitting a limit pauses app usage; it doesn't add charges.
• API usage is prepaid from credits. At zero, calls answer 402 out_of_credits.

The only recurring charge is your plan's renewal, which you can cancel any time. The Terms note that overage is charged only if you have credits or have expressly enabled overage billing; app usage never overflows into credits.

• Prices and credits are in US dollars.
• Plans and credits are sold through Gumroad, the merchant of record, which also handles receipts and taxes.
