Will the same instructions always give the same result?
Not exactly. Cosmos plans and acts step by step, so two runs with the same input can take different paths and produce different code.
To make results more consistent:
- Pin versions ("use Python 3.12 and pytest 8").
- Spell out the steps and file names.
- Define "done" with a check (tests, a build, an exact output).
- Use the same tier for the same kind of task.
- Review and test the results rather than assuming they match.
