Can a run call external APIs or send data to other services?
Runs can search and fetch the web, use a browser, and use connected apps and MCP servers on your account. So yes, a run can talk to other services, as your instructions direct.
Keep control:
- Connect only the services a task needs, rather than pasting tokens into
input. - Say what it must not do ("don't send emails", "read only").
- Review outputs and logs.
