Can I start lots of runs at the same time?

An account can have 5 runs queued or running at once. A sixth answers 429 too_many_runs.

Running large batches#

1. Keep your own queue of tasks.
2. Start up to 5 runs.
3. When one finishes (a done event, or a final status when polling), start the next.

Other limits to keep in mind#

• Each key's requests-per-minute limit (10, 30, 60 or 120).
• Your credit balance: each run spends credits.

For one big task, let Cosmos split it: a single run can use sub-agents that work in parallel.
