Can Cosmos work on my GitHub repository?

FAQUpdated

Cosmos works on your account's cloud computer, so it needs a way to get the code there:

  • Public repositories: give it the URL in your instructions.
  • Private code: use connected apps on your account (the docs list connectors and MCP servers as a tool), rather than pasting tokens.
  • Code you already gave it: keep it in a Cloud Repo for later runs.

Ask for results as outputs (a patch or files) and review them before merging, like any pull request.
