My instructions are longer than 20,000 characters. What can I do?

input can be up to 20,000 characters; longer input answers 413 too_large.

Ways around it#

• Trim: keep the goal, constraints, and only the relevant part of logs or code.
• Point to it: if the material is public, give Cosmos the URL; it can fetch pages and read docs.
• Keep it on the cloud computer: an earlier run can save code to a Cloud Repo or storage on your account, and a later run can read it ("Continue from the Cloud Repo named todo-api").
• Split the job into several runs, each with a focused task.

Note that the run object returns only the first 4,000 characters of input, so store your full instructions yourself if you need them later.
