What is a base URL?

A base URL is the start of the web address an API lives at. Your code adds the specific path to it.

For the Model API:

• Base URL: https://api.gateway.clatterlabs.xyz/v1
• Chat: base URL + /chat/completions
• Models: base URL + /models

With an OpenAI SDK, you set the base URL once and the SDK adds the paths.
