Can I use the Model API for a school project?

Yes. The Model API is a good way to learn how apps use AI. A few tips:

• Ask a parent or guardian if you're under 18. Clatter Labs' Terms and Privacy Policy explain who can have an account.
• Use the free credit. New accounts get $5. Short questions on Flash cost a tiny fraction of a cent each, so $5 goes a long way.
• Use Flash (supercosmos-flash). It's the fastest and cheapest.
• Keep your API key secret. Don't paste it into a shared document, a screenshot or a public project.
• Be kind to the assistant. Insulting or cursing at it is against the Abuse policy and can pause the account for 24 hours.

Easy first project: a small program that asks SuperCosmos for a fun fact about a topic you type in. Start with your first call.
