Should I use Line CLI or the Cosmos Agent API?
Use Line CLI when you want to work on code yourself, in your terminal, on your own machine. Use the Cosmos Agent API when your own software needs to start agent runs over HTTPS.
Line CLI#
- Runs on your computer and edits your local files.
- Covered by your plan (Free included).
- You approve edits and commands as they happen.
Cosmos Agent API#
- You call
https://api.agent.clatterlabs.xyzwith an API key and your Account ID. - Runs happen on Clatter Labs infrastructure with a cloud computer.
- Paid from credits, pay as you go, and needs a Plus, Pro or Ultra plan.
Can I use both?#
Yes. They use the same Clatter Labs account. Earlier Line versions could hand work to Cosmos Agent with /delegate; that was removed in 0.7.0-beta, and sub-agents now run the work locally.
