Can I use the Model API instead of Line CLI?
You can, but they do different jobs. The Model API lets your own code send messages to SuperCosmos (OpenAI-compatible). Line CLI is a ready-made coding agent that adds tools, approvals, sub-agents and saved sessions on top.

Which one?#
- Want to fix code now? Use Line.
- Building your own app, bot or agent? Use the Model API.
Prices per 1M tokens are the same list prices in both: Flash $1.60 / $3.40, Max $1.80 / $3.80, Heavy $2.00 / $4.40. The difference is who pays: Line usage counts against your plan, API calls against credits.
