How do I write a LINE.md for my project?

How-toUpdated

LINE.md holds instructions Line always follows in that project. Run /init to have Line draft one, then edit it.

What to put in it#

# Project notes for Line
- Monorepo: apps/web (Next.js), apps/api (Go).
- Use pnpm, never npm.
- Run `pnpm test` in the package you changed before finishing.
- Don't edit files in vendor/ or generated/.
- Write commit-ready code with tests for new functions.

Where Line looks#

  • LINE.md or AGENTS.md in the project folder.
  • ~/.line/LINE.md for rules you want in every project.

Keep it short and specific. Long essays use context on every step.
