How do I create my own Line CLI plugin?

How-toUpdated
line plugin new my-tools # in ~/.line/plugins
line plugin new my-tools --project # in .line/plugins of this project

A scaffolded plugin is enabled, because you wrote it. Edit its plugin.json:

  • tools: exposed to the model as <plugin>__<tool>; arguments arrive as JSON on stdin; stdout is the result.
  • commands: /<plugin>:<command>, either a prompt (with {{args}}) or a run program.
  • hooks: session_start, pre_tool, post_tool, turn_end; pre_tool exit code 2 blocks the call.
  • skills: a folder of skills available while enabled.

After editing, run line plugin enable my-tools again (the fingerprint changed). Full manifest: Plugins.
