How do I fix 403 insufficient_scope?

TroubleshootingUpdated
You calledNeeds
POST /v1/runs, cancelruns:write
GET /v1/runs…, eventsruns:read
GET /v1/accountaccount:read
Model API chat completionsmodels:invoke
Code Bucketsbuckets:read / buckets:write / backups:write

Permissions can't be added to an existing key. Create a new key with the right preset, switch over, revoke the old one.

Good to know#

  • On 429, wait the Retry-After seconds before retrying.
  • Every API request sends your key and your Account ID (X-Clatter-Account: CL-…); a key alone is refused.
  • A new key's secret is shown only once. Clatter Labs stores only a hash, so a lost key can't be recovered.
