How do I create a key for Code Buckets?

How-toUpdated
  1. API keys › Create API key.
  2. Name it, for example "CI uploads".
  3. Choose the Code Buckets preset: buckets:read, buckets:write, backups:write.
    • For a dashboard that only reads, select Customize and keep just buckets:read.
    • For a CI job that uploads but shouldn't create or restore backups, use buckets:read + buckets:write.
  4. Pick a rate limit and expiry, then Create key and copy it.

Use it at https://api.codebuckets.clatterlabs.xyz with your Account ID in X-Clatter-Account. See the Code Buckets docs.

In the keys list, a Code Buckets key shows the chip Code Buckets, or Code Buckets · read / · no backups for smaller sets.

Good to know#

  • Keys can expire after 30 days, 90 days (default), 1 year, or never.
  • Revoking is immediate and permanent: requests fail with 401 invalid_api_key.
