How do I copy my Account ID?

1. Open the Console.
2. Find your Account ID on Home, on API keys, or in the account menu (your avatar).
3. Select the copy icon next to it. A message confirms it was copied ("Account ID copied" in the account menu).
4. Paste it where you need it, such as an environment variable or the X-Clatter-Account header.

If copying doesn't work#

Some browsers block clipboard access. Select the CL-… text with your mouse or finger and copy it the usual way. Make sure you copy all of it: CL- plus eight characters, with no spaces.

Check what you pasted#

A pasted Account ID should look exactly like CL-7K2M9QXA. Matching is case-insensitive, so cl-7k2m9qxa also works, but extra spaces or missing characters will make requests fail with 401.
