What happens if my code ignores Retry-After and keeps retrying?

Retries before the reset fail the same way, so they just waste time and count against your key's per-minute rate limit, which can add 429 rate_limited on top. For a suspension, retries before resets_at fail too. Read Retry-After or resets_at and schedule one retry for then.

• Never retry limit errors in a tight loop.
