Can the Model API return window_limit_reached?

No. window_limit_reached, weekly_limit_reached and monthly_limit_reached apply to app usage (Line CLI, Cosmos Agent, Telegram). The Model API and Agent API can stop you with 402 out_of_credits, 429 rate_limited, 429 too_many_runs, or, for team members, the team quota errors.

Good to know#

• Limit errors include resets_at (UTC) and a Retry-After header.
• Never retry limit errors in a tight loop.
• Console › Billing shows % used and reset times for each limit, your credit balance and your history.
