Can I send a follow-up message to a run that's already going?
The Agent API's endpoints create, read, stream and cancel runs. There's no endpoint to send extra messages into a run that's already going.
How to continue work#
- Start a new run with the follow-up, and include what it needs: "In the Cloud Repo named todo-api, add pagination to GET /todos and run the tests."
- Keep work on the cloud computer so later runs can pick it up: ask the first run to commit to a Cloud Repo, deploy to hosting or save to storage.
- Change direction mid-run? Cancel it with
POST /v1/runs/{id}/canceland start a new one with better instructions.
