Does a run keep going if my script stops or my connection drops?

FAQUpdated

Yes. A run lives on Clatter Labs infrastructure, not in your connection.

  • If your script crashes, your laptop sleeps or your stream drops, the run keeps going.
  • A long task continues in segments past any single request's time limit, up to 150 steps.

Picking it back up#

  • Reconnect to GET /v1/runs/{id}/events?after=N, where N is the number of step events you already have.
  • Or fetch GET /v1/runs/{id} to see its status and result.

Lost the run id? GET /v1/runs lists your recent runs, newest first. Putting your own id in metadata makes them easy to match.
