How do I rotate a Model API key without downtime?

Run both keys side by side for a moment:

1. Create a new key with the same permission and rate limit.
2. Deploy it to your app (secret manager or environment variable).
3. Watch Console › Logs until requests come from the new key and errors stay at zero.
4. Revoke the old key.

Because each key has its own per-minute limit, traffic split across two keys during the change won't hit a lower limit. If a key leaked, skip the waiting: revoke at once.
