Line CLI says "Can't reach the Line API"
"Can't reach the Line API … Check your connection or proxy." means Line couldn't open a connection to Clatter Labs.
Check#
- Is your internet working? Open any website.
- VPN or proxy: try turning the VPN off, or make sure your terminal uses your proxy settings.
- Firewall or company network: Line needs to reach Clatter Labs services over HTTPS. Ask IT if outbound connections are restricted.
- Status: look at status.clatterlabs.com.
When offline, Line gives up a step after 3 redos. Your session is saved; line -c continues when you're back.
