My antivirus or SmartScreen blocks line.exe. Is it safe?
Security software can be cautious about new command-line programs that download from the internet. The official installer only downloads from install.clatterlabs.xyz and verifies the SHA-256 checksum of line.exe before installing it, refusing anything that doesn't match.
What to do#
- Make sure you used the official command:
irm https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line.ps1 | iex. - If your antivirus quarantined
line.exe, check its details: it should be in%USERPROFILE%\.line\bin\. - If you trust it, allow the file in your security software, or ask your IT team.
Never download Line from other websites or file-sharing links. If you think a copy is fake, tell support@clatterlabs.com.
