The Line installer says "curl or wget is required"
The script uses curl or wget to download Line. Install one of them, then try again.
| Distribution | Command |
|---|---|
| Debian / Ubuntu | sudo apt-get install -y curl |
| Fedora / RHEL | sudo dnf install -y curl |
| Alpine | apk add curl |
| Arch | sudo pacman -S curl |
Then:
curl -fsSL https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line | sh
You may also see "sha256sum, shasum or openssl is needed to verify the download". Most systems have sha256sum (from coreutils); install coreutils or openssl if it's missing. Line never installs a binary it couldn't verify.
