Do I need sudo or root to install Line CLI?
No. The installer puts Line in ~/.line/bin inside your home folder and edits your own shell profile, so no root access is needed.
Don't run it as sudo sh: that would install Line into root's home folder instead of yours, and you'd sign in as root.
If you want Line in a shared location, set LINE_INSTALL_DIR, for example:
curl -fsSL https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line | LINE_INSTALL_DIR=/opt/line/bin sh
You need write access to that folder, and every user still signs in with their own account.
