How do I install and sign in to Line CLI on a server over SSH?

Install Line normally, then use device sign-in, which doesn't need a browser on the server.

Steps#

1. Install: curl -fsSL https://install.clatterlabs.xyz/line | sh
2. Reload your shell: exec $SHELL -l
3. Sign in: line login --device
4. Line prints a link and a code. Open the link on your laptop or phone, sign in with your Clatter Labs account and confirm the code matches.
5. Line prints "Signed in to Line CLI as …".

Tips#

• Run long sessions inside tmux or screen so they survive a dropped SSH connection. Line also saves your session after every step; line -c continues it.
• Inside the app, /login device does the same thing.
