How do I sign in to Line CLI without a browser?
Use device sign-in:
line login --device
Line prints a link and a short code: "To sign in, open <link> and confirm the code …". Open the link on any phone or computer, sign in with your Clatter Labs account, check the code matches, and confirm. Line finishes on its own.
Inside the app: /login device.
When to use it#
- SSH sessions and remote servers
- Docker containers and CI machines
- WSL or other setups where the browser can't talk back to the terminal
If the code expires before you confirm it, run line login --device again ("the device code expired; run line login again").
