How do I use skills in Line CLI?

How-toUpdated

A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md: front matter with name and description, then Markdown instructions, optionally with scripts and reference files.

Commands#

line skill list
line skill search pdf
line skill install <owner/repo/path | URL | name> [--project] [-y]
line skill remove <name>
line skill new <name> [--project]

In the app: /skills, /skills search <words>, /skills install <source>, /skills remove <name>, /skills <name> <task>.

How Line uses them#

Line lists each skill's name and description; when a task fits, it loads the full skill. It can also propose installing one (you see every file first; nothing is written until you approve, and nothing runs on install) or save a new one you approve.

Skills live in ~/.line/skills/ (yours) and .line/skills/ (project; wins on name clashes). See Skills.
