Where are my Clatter Editor projects?
Clatter Editor saved your projects, files and settings inside your own web browser (in the browser's local storage for editor.clatterlabs.com). They were never stored on Clatter Labs servers.
What that means#
- Your files are probably still there, in the same browser on the same device where you used the editor.
- They are not there if you cleared your browsing data for the site, or if you used a private or incognito window.
- The offline page doesn't read or erase them. Turning off the editor didn't delete anything in your browser.
- Clatter Labs can't send you a copy, because there is no copy on our side.
How to get them back#
- Check whether you pushed the project to a Git provider first: Did I push my project to GitHub?
- If not, the files can be pulled out of your browser. See How do I get my Editor files out of my browser?
- Stuck? Contact support and tell us which browser and device you used. We'll walk you through it.
