My public file downloads instead of opening, or shows as text. Why?
The public hosts send Content-Type from the upload's content_type, or from the file extension when it was application/octet-stream.
- A file with no extension and no
content_typemay download instead of opening. - A wrong
content_type(liketext/plainfor a PDF) shows it wrongly.
Stored files don't change, so upload it again with the right content_type and use the new link.
