I uploaded my code but the Files tab is empty. Why?

Check, in order:

  1. Kind: only .zip archives are unpacked. A .rar, .tar.gz or a zip uploaded with "kind": "asset" isn't.
  2. Preview setting: buckets with preview off never unpack zips (preview.status: "off").
  3. Still processing: wait for code.updated.
  4. Failed: preview.status: "failed" means the zip couldn't be read; it's still stored.
  5. Everything skipped: if every file is over 2 MB, the tree can be empty; check preview.skipped.
