What happens to public links when I switch a public bucket to private?

• Files on inherit follow the bucket and become private: their links stop working on the next request, and image ids are retired.
• Files set to public explicitly stay public.
• Files set to private stay private.

The bucket.visibility_changed event records how many files follow the bucket. Check for explicit public files with each object's visibility.
